1) Be the change you seek.
Complaining is easy, but doing moves us forward.
2) No is the first step on the road to yes.
If no one says “no,” your idea isn't radical enough. Push for ideas you believe in.
3) All assumptions are wrong until proven right.
Test assumptions with real customers. Gather data. If the facts prove you wrong, admit it and try again.
4) Start small and iterate rapidly.
Boil everything down to its smallest possible essence that is still valuable, usable, and feasible. Begin there.
5) Work in small, supportive teams.
Jeff Bezos built Amazon.com on a growing collection of “two pizza” teams of no more than 8-10 people. If it worked for them, it can work for us.
